A flexible, shielded power cable specifically engineered for use in variable frequency AC motor drive (VFD) applications.

  • 600/1000V UL Type TC-ER, 90°C
  • Braid/Foil Shield with Full Size Drain Wire
  • XLPO Insulation, PVC Jacket
  • Tinned Copper Conductors
  • Full-size Insulated Ground

Conductor
  • Stranded tinned copper circuit conductors

Insulation
  • Crossed-linked polyethylene (XLPE)

Color Code
  • Black with number surface printed in contrasting ink

Grounding Conductor
  • One full-size tinned copper conductor with green/yellow polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation

Drain Wire
  • Full-size, tinned copper wires

Overall Shield
  • 85% Braid of tinned copper wires and a poly aluminum foil tape, helically applied and lapped

Other
  • Thicker, industrial-grade XLPE insulations provide low copacitance for extended motor life, reduced likelihood of corona discharge, reduced magnitude of standing waves, increased efficiency of power transfer
  • Robust ground and shielding system to minimize radiated and conducted noise that can disrupt plant control and instrumentation systems
  • Reliably carry power from AC drive systems to AC motors
  • Effectively hande the overall high power levels of pulse-width modulated (PWM) signals
  • Reliabley handle high voltage spikes - eliminating potential damage to the cable, motors, bearings, drives and related equipment - potentially extending their life
  • Bend Radius is 8 x O.D.
